International Contribution at ISEMAS 2025!
As the Renewable Energy Research, Development and Application Center, we proudly took part in another major international event in the field of energy management and sustainability.
A scientific study, with contributions from our Center Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ersin Akyüz and Deputy Director Lecturer Metin Gül, was successfully presented at ISEMAS 2025 – International Symposium on Energy Management and Sustainability.
Entitled “Soiling of Photovoltaic Panels: Effect of Particle Size and Quantity on Panel Performance and Temperature”, this multidisciplinary research was conducted by a broad team of undergraduate and doctoral students together with faculty members.
All experimental processes were carried out in the laboratories of Balıkesir University. Murat Sözeren, an undergraduate student of the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, actively contributed to the experimental applications.
As an international collaborator, Dr. Kacem Zereg from the University of Science and Technology Houari Boumediene took part both in the analysis phase and in the presentation of the study, which he delivered during the symposium.
Through national and international collaborations, our Center continues to foster scientific output while also supporting the academic development of our students.
We extend our sincere thanks to all researchers and students who contributed to this work.
