A New International Publication Signed by Balıkesir University
An academic study co-authored by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ersin Akyüz from the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, and Dr. Tuba Tezer, Lecturer at Balıkesir Vocational School, who are also researchers at the Renewable Energy Research, Development, Application and Research Center of Balıkesir University (BAUN), has been published in the International Journal of Hydrogen Energy. Commissioning of the Laboratory-Scale Wave Channel
Balıkesir University provides an environment for interdisciplinary studies particularly in the fields of coastal, civil, environmental, naval, and electrical-electronics engineering. The Hydraulic Laboratory within the Department of Civil Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, now hosts our fully FPGA-computer-controlled wave flume, which we use for both regular and irregular wave generation and for which the control software has been developed in-house.
The wave flume, with dimensions of 24 m × 1 m × 1 m, is equipped with a piston-type wave generator and operates with control software developed by our academic staff. The accompanying images present the operation of the system.Weblink
9th International Hydrogen Technologies Congress

Meeting on May 8, 2019
The Renewable Energy Research, Development and Application Center convened on Wednesday, May 8 at 10:00 a.m. in the C-205 seminar hall of the Faculty of Engineering building at Balıkesir University (BAUN). During the meeting, information was shared regarding the Technopark currently being established at our university as well as other Technoparks.
